Peru Fit Retreat

We know you’ve got hiking Machu Picchu in Peru on your bucket list. And you’ve been looking for a chance to get down to South America, have the adventure of a lifetime, keep up (or kick start!) a fitness regimen, and have the trip of your LIFE.

You are in the right spot.

This is a multi-destination itinerary, meaning that we will be visiting different locations around the country and seeing the best Peru has to offer.

This trip is about exploring ancient sites, challenging our limits physically with the elements, and having a high vibe group of people looking to have a GREAT time (and it is very very likely that we will do way too many squats + push ups).

This is definitely calling to those of you who are adventurous - and looking to be challenged and enjoy some hardcore movement. And have a lot of fun.

November 9th, 2019

Fly in November 9th to Lima, Peru and be greeted by a Selva Fitness representative at the airport to transfer you to your hotel. We will meet at 6pm that night for a welcome presentation and welcome dinner.

We leave the hotel right after breakfast to head to the airport for our 1.5 hour flight to Cusco. A van will pick us up and take us directly to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Lunch is included as well as a tour around the Incan town. After some free time, we’ll take it easy with the altitude and practice gentle Yoga surrounded by the mountains.

November 11th, 2019

Our day starts with an early breakfast. The van will drive us for 30 minutes to Ollantaytambo, where we’ll take the train to Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu’s town. Today is the day you explore Machu Picchu! We will also do a rather intense hike on one of the main mountains surrounding the ancient site. A late lunch is included in Aguas Calientes before taking the train back to the Valley. We’ll finish with a meditation session with some light movement.

November 12th, 2019

Free day to explore town. We’ll finish the evening with a meditation session and yoga class.

November 13th, 2019

Early check out from our hotel in the Valley to head to Lamay. Today, we will be ROCK CLIMBING! In the afternoon, we check in to the hotel in Cusco. We will enjoy a group yoga + meditation session in the evening.

November 14th, 2019

Today, enjoy a free day in the city or go visit the FAMOUS Rainbow Mountain as an option.

November 15th, 2019

The day starts with a strong Yoga practice before breakfast. There‘s free time until the afternoon to shop and enjoy Cusco. That afternoon, we will fly back to Lima.

November 16th, 2019

After a morning High Intensity Interval Training, we will enjoy breakfast and coordinate your shuttle back to the airport for your international flight back home.

Required Documents + Vaccines

Passport is required

Be sure to print a copy of your return flight to show immigration officials when you arrive

Travel Insurance is required

  Medical evacuation and repatriation required. We recommend Travel Guard. Please purchase ASAP so that you can be refunded in the event that you must cancel.

You may be required to get the Yellow Fever vaccination, among others. Review here.
